Senior Data Scientists (Full Time position)

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientists to participate in the architecture of numerous AI centric applications for our portfolio companies. In this role, the Data Scientist will be responsible for collaborating with other team members and key stakeholders to create novel designs for AI applications for our portfolio companies

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities

- Working closely with clients, data stewards, project/program managers, and other IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound organisational decisions.

- Develop novel approaches and experiment with new ideas

- Develop innovative ideas and solutions for various projects

- Write specs, pseudocode and algorithms

- Willingness to travel a lot during calendar year (conferences all over the world + team events & regular team meetings @ Limassol – Cyprus – once per month minimum)

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience

- An M.S. or PhD in a Statistics, Data Mining, Mathematics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related technical field.

- 5 years + experience solving analytical problems using machine learning, data science, statistics, and other empirical techniques.

- Comfortable in manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.

- Strong writing and diagramming skills.

SALARY: Starting from $3500, while upper limit is not set, it depends on the candidate’s knowledge and skills
