About position
 The role of the Senior Solution Architect for Branch Solutions is to translate business requirements into solution architecture in the areas: ATS, ATM, VTM, Cash recycling, Cash management, devices for paperless branch processing.

 Wide breadth of knowledge on how various technological components work together to deliver desired functionality is required. The Solution Architect analyzes current application and infrastructure technology to determine its ability to support the solution and creates relevant solution design.

 This is a senior individual contributor role that is accountable for the delivery of application and infrastructure designs that satisfies defined business requirements.
Responsibilities:

 Provide guidance and coaching to developers and specialists on changes throughout the design process
 Understand internal and external business requirements as it relates to the change initiative
 Develops an application and infrastructure solution architecture that accurately translates business requirements to technology and ensures the design will meet business requirements throughout the lifecycle of a change
 Collaborate with IT Enterprise Architecture on the solution design to ensure it conforms to enterprise architectural standards and future roadmaps
 Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing application and infrastructure technology and its ability to support the business requirements
 Liaise with IT Project Managers and IT Delivery Coordinators to implement a solution that will meet business requirements within time and cost constraints
 Lead and delegate application development responsibilities to developers and specialists to ensure the project is completed within the required time frame
 Establish traceability between requirements and application solution architecture design
 Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices Requirements
Education
 University with IT/Software/Telco specialisation
Technical experience, knowledge, qualifications

 Client Management
 Experienced in effectively interacting and communicating with business partners
 Can consolidate requirements and translate them into IT deliverables
 Quality Management
 Understands and adheres to company's quality management processes and practices
 Familiar with quality evaluation methods such as user acceptance testing (UAT), unit and integration testing, etc.
 Participates in quality control activities
 Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and techniques
 Can describe and interpret quality indicators relevant to own unit or function
 Application Implementation
 Coordinates implementation tasks with end-user, operations and quality management
 Has led preparation of system or user documentation and training materials
 Has experience with alternate implementation strategies such as pilot or parallel
 Facilitates implementation reviews for complex applications
 Has led development of implementation plans
 Has consulted on various aspects of moving applications into the production environment.
 Application Development
 Knowledge of functions, features and facilities of applicable programming languages
 Has experience with multiple, industry standard, structured methodologies
 Monitors effectiveness; recommends improvements according to systems development lifecycle
 Has utilized in their career several difference project methodologies and understands when different approaches are appropriate
 Application Development Concepts
 Has familiarity in developing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based services within medium to highly complex application environments
 Experienced developing solutions within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
 Has exhibited appropriate depth and breadth of knowledge involving object-oriented programming
 Application Solution Design
 Experienced with several solution process design or re-engineering efforts in an integrated solution environment
 Has assessed potential implications of re-engineering for multiple functions or departments
 Able to present the results of process-reengineering experience to business management
 Has mastered re-engineering concepts, methods, and tools
 Can cite company of industry specific examples of successes, failures and lessons learned
 Familiar with workflow concepts and how they integrate with application solutions in a cross application context
 Domain Knowledge
 Experience in the domain of branch solutions related to cash management and paperless processing - ATS, ATM, VTM, Cash recycling, Cash management, devices for paperless branch processing (authoring, signing, archiving)
 Experience – Role-specific
 Minimum 8 to 10 years of direct experience creating Solution Architecture
 Experience – Industry Specific
 Minimum 5 years of experience working the relevant domain
Language requirements
 English – fluent
