Shpock is the flea market app for beautiful things. Since our start 2,5 years ago we evolved to one of the leading Marketplace-Apps in the German-speaking countries with more than 8 million users. We are looking for you as:

• You have a BS, or MS, in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
• You have 3+ years experience in professional iOS development
• You have a strong mobile portfolio with Apps published on the Apple App Store
• You have expert knowledge in Objective-C and iOS frameworks
• You ideally have already worked with REST APIs, Facebook SDK and memory optimization
• You quickly find simple, elegant solutions to hard problems and you are confident when working to deadlines
• You have a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• You are a team player with excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• You have a common understanding of web & mobile applications and current trends
• You have the willingness to move to (and work from) Vienna (we will help you with visa and relocation)

What will you do:

• You are responsible for working on different layers of the iOS apps
• Together with your team you will write code that is used by millions of users
• You influence every aspect of the iOS development process from API creation, design, and product
• Work with outside data sources and API’s
• Test code for robustness
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Be responsible for further development of the Shpock iOS app > we have big plans!
• In every task you have the possibility to bring in your own ideas and thereby shape Shpock
