JOB TITLE: Customer Service Agent
About the project: ScholarshipOwl.com supports US based students in finding scholarships and streamlining the scholarship application processes.
Job brief: We are looking for Customer Service agents to assist customers in the use of ScholarshipOwl’s services through phone, email and chat reactively and proactively. You need to be passionate about solving customer issues and strive for customer satisfaction.
Job type & Work hours:
Preferably full-time [Strong candidates working fewer hours per day or fewer days will be considered]
Work hours as per shift schedule agreed in advance
Shift times mirror US time zone, starting in the afternoon and concluding until early morning hours.
Location: Work from office location for at least first two months of employment. Thereafter work from home possible for some of the weekly shifts
Responding to customer questions and complaints by email, chat & phone professionally and fast
Reaching out to customers to verify identity or proactively resolve open issues
Striving for customer satisfaction in every direct interaction with customers
At least one year of experience in a customer service position or a job with direct end-customer interaction in an online environment
Experience with US facing, education related, e-commerce or online service positions is a plus
Skills & Qualifications:
Mother tongue English: Ability to read, write and speak flawlessly
Very fast typing
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Internet and computer savvy
Organized, able to meet deadlines
